Show TRANS-MISSISSIPPI COMMERCIAL CONGRESS MEANS MUCH TO UTAH Salt Lake City, July 24. Approximately Approxi-mately 3000 delegates arc expected to attend the coming session of the Trans-MiBslsstppl Commercial Congress Con-gress in this city, August 27-30. Many of the delegates will bo occompanled by members of their families and It is safe to estimate on a crowd of more than 5000 from nil sections of tho country, Much good.. Is certain to accrue to Utah as a result of this convention. This is guaranteed by tho experience of Seattle In 1903 when the first session ses-sion of tho congress to bo hold In the northwest convened In that city. It Is a matter of record In the offices of tho railroad companies that 7000 tickets wero sold to persons presumably presum-ably attending the Congress. Only about -half of the number used their return passago coupons, the others preferring to remain in the north-w north-w est. The many attractions and ndvan-tages-ot the; state as a place of residence resi-dence -will decide many of the Congress Con-gress visitors, to make their homes lu Utah or to Invest money bore. |
