Show Newton The J. G. Stutt theater company clrsed their week's eaga6mcnt here Saturday night. Their Initial appear- oBj ance was their own copywrlght play: "Was She To Blame," with Aggio M Stutt and Mr. King In the leading roles and ably supported by Mr. Stutt Mrs. Eastman and others. The play is a gem from beginning to end, and the clever acting ot Mrs. Stutt and Mr. King brought down the house and won for them the honest praise of all. The .other characters were equally well handled, bursts of applause ap-plause greeting the able comedian, Mr. Stutt. The other presentations of the week were: "La Ilelle Marie," "The Gambler's Gam-bler's Wife," "East Lynne," and last but by no means least, that side, splitter, split-ter, "Ole Olson," The performances throughout were high class In every respect both as to costumes and dramatic representation. There was Just that touch of realism Imparted to each performance that caught the listener's fancy and gave place to the Imagination. The managers guarantee was satisfaction satis-faction or money refunded at the close of the performance. The' fact that not one call was made upon him Is evidence that the company was more than satisfactory. They were excellent excel-lent Should this excellent company or artists ar-tists find It convenient to visit with us again, we assure them a crowded house for every engagement.
