Show FAREWELL STUDENTS. Within the course of a few days a large number of persons who have added ad-ded materially to the life and enthusiasm enthu-siasm existing In Logan society during tho past winter will have left our city. This condition Is brought about by the closing of our educational Institutions. Institu-tions. A large percentage of the students stu-dents that attend school In Logan during tho winter months are students from outside settlements In this valley and from our neighboring states, and are now taking their departure. We are glad to welcome these persons to our town and arc proud of the fact that we have educational institutions of such a character that they will draw to us tho class of persons who make their homes here during the greater part of a period of from four to seven years, many of whom tind it desirable and convenient to stay permanently. per-manently. While It is with a degree of regret that they take their departure, depart-ure, yet it is a source of satisfaction to know that many of them will return re-turn this fall and take up their work where It has been laid aside for a season. sea-son. The absence of these students is being felt already. They will be missed during the summer months. They will be missed In the city churches, as, they form a very substantial substan-tial part of the congregation in many of the ecclesiastical gatherings. They I will be missed in social circles. Gatherings Gath-erings of a social nature will be less frequent until "the dawn of another school season. It is a notlcable fact that the students that have been in the city during the past school season reflect credit, not onlj on their parents but also en the community from which they como We are proud that our community presents an atmosphere and environment of such a nature that these students can return to their parents as clean morally moral-ly as they were when they came to us. Much credit Is due the permanent residents of Logan for the stand students stu-dents take while here at school, for nearly every family has under its Jurisdiction Jur-isdiction from one to a half-doen boarders, and all seem to take pride In exerting a parent's care over those students who abide under their roof. We will be able next season to furnish as good abd possibly better educational advantages than we have this season and the citizens are only to glad to extend every courtesy to any and all who care to come here for. educational purposes The Rki'Uhmcan wishes one and all a pleasant summer vacation and trusts that they will tlnd It profitable to return In September to again resume re-sume their studies. |
