Ills death, however, B t -1 was much of a-surprlsc. Funeral scr j S vices were held on Friday, and Hyrum B, J , Hatch, Joseph S. Parkinson, Joseph iiiB 'I I II. Lowe and Bishop S. C. Parkinson were the speakers. All made favor, able comments on the life and conduct h; i ' of the departed. Tho deceased was Bfj born December '28, 1877, at Franklin, K Ida , and he leaves a wife, three small H! children, a mother, one brother and K' J two sisters The community sympa- H! Gamble, H one of Franklin's aged citizens, passed U' away, having suffered for tho past few H years with consumption, Brother H Gamble was born In Cumbetland, Eng- H land, August 10, 1833, became a mem H bcr of the L 1). S. church In 1878, and H emigrated in 1880, coming direct to J Clifton, Jda, and later to Franklin, H where he and his family have resided H ever since. Funeral services were H' held Sunday at the meeting house, H i where a large number of relatives and ! friends assembled to show the respect , due. The speakers made favorable comment of the honorable life and character of the deceased and admon-lined admon-lined the family to emulate tho good H . qualities of their parent.
