Show Joseph Odell Is President 'i Cache Commercial Club Honors Him Thusly. At a meeting of the directors of , the Cache 'Commercial held Thursday evening for the purpose of electing officers, the result was jis follows: President Joseph Odell. Vico President R W. Thatcher; Thatch-er; Treasurer A. M. Fleming. Secretary and Mlanngcr F. A. Mitchell., There were no contests, each gentleman heiug named by acclamation. ac-clamation. Sir. Odell, who succeeds suc-ceeds M. J. Ballard, made a thirty thir-ty minute" speech in which he frankly admitted his belief that he could and would make a better bet-ter president than any of his predecessors, pre-decessors, and the directors applauded ap-plauded vociferously. Little other business was transacted, tran-sacted, though there was considerable consid-erable discussion ol matters of interest. H. Bull, Jr., and F. AV. Thatcher .were named as a committer to audit the books, and J. A. Hcndrickson and M. J. Ballard, were named as a committee commit-tee to investigate the possibili-I possibili-I ties relative to a band. The Club has six fine instruments in charge p and hopes to keep them in good . use. There was .some discussion of the needs of the club and much fruiUbss discussion as to whether the President's report and nn itemized statement of the Secretary Secre-tary and Treasurer should be published. From general discussion it was gathered that the club is in pretty pret-ty fair shape, there being about fifty substantial paying members and an economy in administration administra-tion that leaves $500 in the treasury treas-ury at this time, after all debts are paid. President Odell will name his committees at the February meeting and it is expected that some good work will bo accomplished accom-plished shortly, flhose of the directors di-rectors present at this meeting were: M.
