Show What Is Doing at Wells Happenings in the, Burg as Told by a Live Correspondent. Going to Celebrate. WELLSV1LLE, June 13. Last Sunday the Sunday school ward conference- was held In the meeting house. Tfhe conference 'continued during the cntiro day and at -each session ses-sion the house ws packed, many visitors visi-tors from other wards being present. Bishop Owen declared that lie had never seen so large crowd out in Wells-vlllo Wells-vlllo before. Tho .exercises from the different wards was well rendered, and much excellent advlco was given. Singing rendered by tho choir was greatly appreciated. A very pleasing feature of the afternoon and evening session was tho address given by Elder Franklin S. Gunnell.whlch the confer-erce confer-erce was declaied one of tho very best ever held and at the clcse of tho 'evening 'eve-ning session all felt that a most enjoy-ablo enjoy-ablo and profitable day had been spent. . On Wednesday, Miss Ethel Baugh and Waiter Aylett, both highly respected re-spected young people of our city, were married in the Logan temple. Near relatives and a few friends attended tho reception given at tho home of tho bride's mother.Mrs, Emily Baugh. On Monday night, a "bundle shower" was given Miss Baugh by a number of her girl friends. The presents were varied and useful. A pleasant evening was spent. Wellsvllle expects to nave a fine celebration on Fourth of July. The city council met with tome of the leading citizens and various committees commit-tees have been appointed and thsy will begin at onco to make arrangements 'ft for that day. Miss Ivy Coburn- is now at home after attending school at the University Univer-sity of Utah. Miss Jennie Lelshmanhas returned to Ogden after a short visit with homo .folks. I Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Bradshaw 1 were made happy by tho arrival of a I baby boy on June Cth. Last Sunday Mrs. Ames was called to Ogden on accoupt of the Illness -of her daughter. Mrs. W. II. Israel-sen, Israel-sen, i Franklin Gunnell returned home last Sunday from a two year's mission to Great Britain. Ho received a hearty welcome by his many friends. Mrs. Chas. Parkinson, of.Rexburg, is spending a few weeks visiting with ' relatives and friends in our city. After a six weeks visit here, Mrs. Chas. B. Brown has gone to Join her husband In California. Miss Carrie Jones went to Salt Lake Tuesday.
