Show OLD REPORTER WA8 HARDENED. Probably Not His First Attendance at an Execution. Sir Wcmyss Hold wrote as follows of one of his early experiences as a reporter: "On tho first, occasion of witnessing an execution, as I stood trembling at the foot of the scaffold on which the victim was about to appear, ap-pear, I noticed an old reporter, for whom rtalned a great personal res ig up and down bcshlo me, to ho new testament.
