Show Millville. Mili.vii.lk, Utah, April Hi. At a meeting of the town council it was decided to purchase four acres of land from P. O. Pshrson In the .northeast part of town at VdoO. Tlio marshal was ordered to put In footbridges on the canal that runs through tlio center of town, as some of the sidewalks arc impassible. Some of the town streets are fenced In and others are In a bad shape. Accordingly Ac-cordingly Jos R. Jeppson and Henry Chandler were appointed as a street committee to act with the marshal. The town clerk wui ordered to collect col-lect the merchant's license not yet pild Marshal a Poo Bah. The town lias Lccu given a free 'phone by tlio Hell Telephone Co. which was given to the marshal, Geo. Cliandlei. Some of our people think this marshal Is given too much authority. The other day ho was collecting dog-tax that had been duo for some time and somo of the young men were slow In settling.
