Show WHAT WE OWE. The people from outside towns aro entitled to at least three considerations considera-tions from Logan city public drinking drink-ing fountains where they and their animals an-imals may quench their thirst, public urinals, and surilclent hitching room near tho central part of the city. Quite recently tho city cotitu II ordered all hydrants removed from sidewalks. This Is a'l right so far as the city is concerned, but these have been about tho only places where visitors could get a drink of water, and their removal remov-al makes It very inconvenient for the country people, As to public nrlnals there Is little that can bo said here. However, It Is a shame that the city has not hereto foro considered the'pub lie's nccdalong this line. At this time thcro Is considerable good hltchroom provided, and except on extraordinary occasions the people from the county can have llttlo kick coming. Watering Water-ing troughs could be provided, however, how-ever, and really should be. There arc not more than two or three In this city, and not all can llnd these. If the people were as humane as they should be they would placo a good watering trough on tho roads between Logan and cflch of thu towns of this valley. Attention given to things such as are mentioned above shows more real progression pro-gression than tho building of great buildings or miles of sidewalks. |
