Show Vilate Kenney new president of Cedar Reading Club Vilate Kenney was named president of the Cedar City Reading Club at the groups meeting this past week at the home of Florence Hlgbee. Named Nam-ed as vice president was Jessie Lou Albertson with Florence Hlgbee to serve as secretary. Outgoing officers of the Club are Florence Berry, president; Mrs. Kenney, vice president and Cora Stuckl, secretary. Delicious refreshments were served following the election and social events. Earlier in the month the club met at the home of Alice Haight to hear a report on the State of Washington given by Mrs. Albertson. She pointed out that Wash- lngton Is a leader in many ways: In lumber, in fruit and other crops and in aircraft production. pro-duction.
