Show Japanese visiters make brief stop in Cedar City Two hundred and fifty-four Japanese fro Yokahama made a brief stopover In Cedar City while on tour of the Western United States. The group, all participating on a Greyhound bus tour, were parents of scouts who had been attending the National Jam-boree Jam-boree in Idaho. The group, four of which spoke English, arrived early in the week, via air, In Spokane, Wash. There they boarded buses and traveled throughout the northwest into Idaho. From Idaho the group traveled to Salt Lake City and stopped briefly enroute to Zlon and Grand Canyon National Parks. The group also planned stops at Las Vegas, Nev. (only four hours) then on to southern south-ern California and back up the coast to Spokane where they flew back to their native country. |
