Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS , Sealed bids will be received by the Iron County Commissioners for emergency operating center in basement of new Iron County Courthouse, Parowan, Utah. Bids will be in accordance with Drawings and Specifications prepared by John S. Rowley, A.I.A., and the same may be obtained from the architect, upon receipt of $50.00 deposit per set, made payable to the Architect and which deposit will be refunded upon return of such drawings and specifications in good condition within ten days of the date set for the bid opening. Bids will be received until the hour of 2:00 p.m., July 31, 1974 at which time they will be opened and read aloud in the temporary Court Room at Parowan City Library, Parowan, Utah. A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent per-cent (5 percent) of the bid, made payable to the Iron County Commission, shall accompany bid. If certified or cashier's check is used in lieu of Bid Bond, a certificate from an approved Surety Company guaranteeing execution of a 100 percent Performance Per-formance Bond and 100 percent Payment Bond mucl accompany Bid. The Iron County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the County. All laborers, workmen, machanics and apprentices employed on this project shall be paid not less than the general prevailing wage rates as set forth in the State and Federal wage schedules in the contract documents. Where differences occur, the larger rate shall be paid. The fringe benefits on the Federal Schedule shall be paid in addition to the basic hourly rates included on such schedule.
