Show Area residents , invited to land seminar With an ever increasing demand for deeded property in Utah, residents are facing the inevitable shortage of deeded land. It has been pointed out that in Hawaii and many parts of California it is impossible to purchase land. The only access to property in those areas is through long-term leases. Idaho is another example of people that are loosing their state. Seventy percent of Idaho property is controlled by the Federal Government. This ieaves 30 percent as deeded property. Of this 30 percent. 90 percent is owned by people living outside of the state. The people of Idaho have failed to recognize the value of their land. Utah is headed for a similar tragedy. A discussion on this matter will be the subject of a special presentation to be made Friday, evening, July 26 at 8 p.m. in the banquet room of the Town and Country Restaurant. Featured speaker will be Steve Duckett, ' director of sales for Diviersified Marketing, Inc. His presentation will be entitled "Buy Utah - If you don't California will!" Anyone interested is invited to attend. |
