Five Scouts receive Eagle awards Five scouts of the Cedar West Stake received their Eale Awards at ti e Court of Honor held Sunday evening under the direction of the Cedar Breaks District, Boy Scouts of America. Recipients of the awards included in-cluded the following: Eric Schmutz, Troop 379, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Schmutz. Gary Leonard, Troop 346, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carol Leonard. David Payne, Troop 373, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Payne. Oscar Hulet, Troop 346, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. Kent Hulet Larry Webb, Troop 346, son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Webb. Traveling trophy, awarded to the troop with the highest participation par-ticipation and advancement re cord over the past month, went to Troop 330 with Ken Benson as scoutmaster. Other advancements included a Life Award to Clark Moss, Troop 373 and Kurt Neilson, Nathan Johnson, Todd Thorley and Brent Crandall, all of Troop 330 were advanced to the rank of Star at the court of honor. |
