The LDS Institute will be the locale for an Oct. 30 Halloween party for all students beginning at 7 p.m. ' Guest artists, "Natty Bumpo," will concertize in the SUSC auditorium aud-itorium at 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 31. A special Halloween spook show, "The Pit and the Pendulum," Pendu-lum," will be presented at midnight mid-night in the SUSC Music Center. The Homecoming Week assembly as-sembly on Nov. 1 at 11 ajn. will feature the annual King's Pageant Pag-eant in the auditorium. A salute sal-ute to the SUSC football team , will result in selection of male royalty for the week's events. Contestants will be attired to represent their favorite fairy tale. , Faculty and students will : compete that afternoon in the I annual "Mud Bowl" to begin at 3:30 on the mud flats of Man-zanita Man-zanita Courts. Members of the 50-Year-Club will gather Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. in the SUSC Student Lounge for a social hour to precede the annual an-nual club dinner, which this year will honor' the class of 1923. . That same evening, SUSC students will participate In a grub dance beginning at 9 p.m. in the Cedar Junior High School Gym. On Saturday, Nov. 3, events cf the final day of Homecoming will begin with the annual parade par-ade beginning at 10 a.m. on Cedar City's Main Street. Activities preceeding the football foot-ball game between SUSC and Westminster College will begin at 1 p.m. in , the Thunderbird Stadium and will feature visiting visit-ing bands and pep clubs from throughout Utah and adjacent states. A special attraction will be a parachute jump over the stadium. The game begins at 1:30 p.m. The annual Alumni Banquet will begin Saturday at 6:30 p.m. In the large ballroom of the SUSC Student Center. A formal dance will follow at 9 p.m. with music by "Clouds." |
