Show ' 1 Ah SPECIAL RECOGNITION. Utah Council of the Girls Scouts of America presented Cedar City Products Company with a special certificate of appreciation this past week in recognition for the organization financial support and interest in the girl scout program. Making presentation were these representatives of Cedar City Girl Scout units, including, front row, left to right: Leslie Bittick, Brownie; Maria Chidester, Junior; Lou Szepi, vice president and general manager of Cedar City Products; Christia Nyman and Shellie Eymanb, both Cadets. Back are Girl Scout leaders, Joann Bittick, Connie Nyman and Penny Eyman. Traditional dinner scheduled atPHS PAROWAN - The Parowan High School has an established tradition of a big Thanksgiving dinner served each year at the school the Wed. before Thanksgiving. This years dinner was a huge success and was enjoyed by the entire student body and faculty on Wed. The dinner was served in the gym, and featured turkey with all the trimmings. A small change in seating was featured this year, as each faculty member has 18 students to see on a regular basis, these groups were seated at especially assigned tables, thus eliminating any feeling of a "Chowline". A greater feeling for the special occasion was cultivated. '1776", a very special movie was shown in the auditorium for all to enjoy after dinner. |
