Show Contests announced by Poetry Society The writer's name, age, and phone number (or address) should be written on the back of entries. The poems entered do not have to rhyme to be good. Word imagery, orlglnallity and feeling will be highly con. sidered by the judges. Entries of the children's poems must be mailed by March 10th, one month before the announcements are made. The Southern Utah Poetry Society Is sponsoring two new poetry . writing contests in conjunction with their annual spring contest. One section is open to children of elementary school ages. The youth contest is for high school and Junior high school students. All youth In Iron County are invited to enter one or two their poems in these contests. Cash prizes will be awarded to winners on April 10th at the annual awards social. The winners will be invited to read or someone else will read their winning entries.
