Show Parowan Lions preparing minstrel show The Parowan Lions Club is engaged in a full schedule of events, beginning with the club's annual birthday party tonight, Thursday,, and run-rilng run-rilng until late in the month or March, it is announced by Jim Pinkham, club official. Plans for the birthday party has its beginning with a fellowship hour at the Gun and Rod Clubhouse at 7, with a dinner following at 8 in the Commons of the high school. The dinner is being catered by the Parowan Cafe. This will be followed by a dance in the high school gymnasium with all club members and their wives and partners present. Further activities of the 'club includes regular practices prac-tices for the Lions Minstrel Show, to be presented late in March, Pinkham adds- Twice a week practices are being held, on Tuesday and Thursday Thurs-day evenings in the music room of the high school. In charge of this event are Osmer Nielsen and Mr. Pinkham, Pink-ham, and they announce that Ramona Stubbs is directing direct-ing and Vyonne Chamberlain is accompanying , the music for if. Glen Halterman will be the interlocutor. |
