X i 1 r . -vi t m : 1 1 QUENTON BOWLER Quenton Bowler to attend special workshop Quenton Bowler, humanities I instructor at Parowan High School, was one of two Social j Studies teachers In the State of Utah selected to participate partici-pate in a six week environmental environ-mental curriculum development develop-ment workshop from June 11 to July 20. The workshop will be held at the Utah State School Board of Education in Salt Lake City. Mr. Bowler will spend most of the time working at Cottonwood Cot-tonwood High School. This workshop will be an attempt to relate our environmental crisis to the humanities curriculum cur-riculum as taught in the Iron County School District. Graduated with honors from SUSC in Cedar City Bowler attended graduate school at University of Utah,, the University Uni-versity of Nevada at Reno and Sonoma State College at Rho-nera Rho-nera Park, Calif. He and Mrs. Bowler has two sons, Jerry and Dennis, both graduates of Parowan High School, The Bowlers live in Summit. |
