Show ROLLO-glyphics-, Schools out, but this past week I heard one about the student center at the junior High School that I must pass along. It seems that the center is painted pink and blue. The comment was that all It lacks is a swing and a sand box. Ike passes on this little tid bit for the , week. On his way to Paragonah Reservoir for the opening of the fishing season it seems that a number of n'.mrods got stuck in the mire. The opening of fishing season sea-son this year was like the opening of deer season. Bad, bad weather. And come to think about it the weather has not been that cooperative in between those two dates either. How do you feel about the quality of service of your lo. cal government? Jn addition, the survey teams will attempt to measure the citizenry's needg and de. sires for local government services, ser-vices, and whether they should be increased decreased, mod. ified or stopped altogether. Results of the survey will be disseminated to local government govern-ment leaders in the towns and counties surveyed. It will be interesting to see the reaction of the citizenry to questions of government and what is expected of them. We'll try and follow up with a report. But in the meantime be prepared for your interview. That's the question that will be asked residents of Cedar City, and other communities In the state toy a select team of pollsters from the University Univer-sity of Utah. The team will interview citizens to ascertain their reactions re-actions to present municipal services provided by police, fire, health departments and the like, as well as by overall over-all governing bodies. Each interviewee will be asked to rate the services as "very good," "tolerable," or "very poor" and to cite his rationale. |
