Speakers were Woodrow N. Decker and Bishop Rupert S. Hulet, with closing remarks by Elder Burt. The invocation was offered by Charles F. Bentley, the benediction was by John S. Dalton, and the grave In the Parowan City cemetery was dedicated by Karl O. Mitchell. A ladies quartet consisting of Merna Mitchell, Janet Jones, Katrine Johnson and Jackie Robinson sang two songs "Sing Me to Sleep" and "Abide With Me, Tis Even-tlde'l Even-tlde'l with itha Mortensen as accompanist, and Mrs. Cham-; Cham-; berlain played an organ med-ley. med-ley. RULAN DALTON 1 Funeral services for Rulan Robb Dalton 69, Parowan, who died May 29, 1973 at Wis home ' in Parowan from a lung embolism em-bolism were held Friday at 2 p. m. in the Parowan Third Ward chapel. He was born May 4, 1904 in Parowan to Joseph Bartlett and Mary Robb Dalton. He was a lifetime resident of Parowan, Par-owan, and a prominent farm-mer farm-mer and livestockman. He had served as a member of the bishopric of the Parowan Paro-wan Second Ward. He was a charter member of the Red Hill Wranglers riding club, he was a past director and secretary secre-tary of the Utah State Western West-ern Riding Clubs association. He was a past officer of the Iron County Woolgrowers Association, As-sociation, and a member and former officer of the Parowan Gun and Rod Club.; He attended local schools, and was married to Zelma Helen Dalley, July 25. 1925 She died April 23, 1959 and he married Berta W. Burton Nov. 3, 1959, both of them being solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. He is survived by his widow; three sons and one daughter, Adrian Elmo, Ogden, Fred Dalley, Washington, Utah; Ut-ah; Rulan Kent, Fillmore, and Karen D. Kline (Mrs. Gary) Ogden; Stepchildren: Edward A. Burton, Parowan; Donald E. Burton, Layton; and Mrs. Ramon (Frankie Lou) Bentley, Bent-ley, Parowan; Nine grandchildren grandchil-dren and one great grandchild. Also surving are five sisters.
