Show Enoch -fv and trw Midvalley Mr. and Mrs. DeVon Jones were in Provo on Thursday to visit with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Storrs and baby and with Bob Jones. Mrs. Robin Harper's small baby is home from the hospital after having surgery last week. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Ray and Fred Bergstrom were in Provo and Salt Lake last week on business. While there, they attended the basketball games in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Anderson were here from Mesquite, Nevada. Roland spent the time shearing sheep and Ellen visited with the Lynn Mitchell family and the Keith Anderson family. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Van Muijen and Mrs. Ida Fay Rost made a trip to Whittier, Calif. They took a load of belongings for the Van Muijens who will return to California at the close of the SUSC school year. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blattner were in Salt Lake on business. Mrs. Suzanne McConnel and two children of Onterio, Calif, and Mrs. Elizabeth Edmunds and three children of Rancho, Calif., , visited with the Scott Bulloch and Keith Lasson families. While here they also visited with their great aunt, Barbara Adams who is staying here for a while with Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Grimshaw. Clint and Boyd Matheson spent one day last week in Provo on business. Mr. and Mrs. Clint Matheson and boys enjoyed a visit over the weekend from Mr. and Mrs. Chris Reed of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Sly were here on Sunday to visit with Mrs. Zelma Alger. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wilcken and children are spending this week here with their families, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Wilcken and President and Mrs. W. R. Grimshaw and other family members. Jay and Louise live in Midvale, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith of Torrence, Calif., were house guests of the Gary Tharpes, who are newcomers to the area. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Wilcken, Scott and Annette Wilcken were in Salt Lake over the weekend on business. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Fillerup had a large number of guests here over the weekend. They came to hear Boyd Fillerup and the rest of the Fillerup family speak at Sacrament Meeting on Sunday, before Boyd leaves on an LDS mission to Uraguay. Those who came from out of town were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs Arthur Dent , Sr., and Mrs. Veda Fillerup of Salt Lake. Also from Salt Lake were Mr. and Mrs Nolan Fillerup, and Miss Marlene Dent and a friend. Miss Marjory Bateman; Mr. and Mrs Arthur Dent J. and two children of Bountiful and Mr. and Mrs Richard Olson and two children of Kaysville. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wilcken were in Manti last week to attend the wedding of Joyce's brother. Mrs. Monna Lewis enjoyed a visit recently from her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs Fritz Culp of Wisconsin. The Culps were here to visit with their children who are attending BYU and to also visit with Mrs Culp's parents in Henderson. Nevada. |
