Show Justice Court passes out fines Action in the Cedar Justice Court recently included five counts against a Beryl man who is presently serving his term in Cedar City jail. Jimmy Dan Begay was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and fined $2.r0 with 30 days in jail; two counts of interfering with an officer, serving six months probation for each count; a $50 fine for criminal mischief. He was also bound over for district court following a preliminary hearing on an assault on a police officer charge. Bail on the latter offense was set at $1,000. Begay cis presently awaiting trial. Carwin McFee, Las Vegas, is is also presently in Cedar City jail serving a 30-day term, combined with a $100 fine, for driving under the influence. |
