Show ClairHigbee, 78 dies of Heart Attack Mark Clair Higbee 78, died March 24, 1979 at his home in Cedar City of a heart attack. Born Nov. 9, 1900 in Toquerville, to Richard and Lorine Lamb Higbee. Married Faun Jenson Sept. 3, 1931 in Summit. Clair was a graduate of the Hurricane High School and a member of the LDS Church. He was apast member of the BPOE and had retired from U.S. Steel. He is survived by his wife of Cedar City; children Mike J. and Richard C. both of Cedar City and Mrs. Lewis (Bonnie) Lepper of Nampa, ' Idaho. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and two brothers, Edwin Higbee of St. George and Lorin Higbee of Hurricane. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 27, 1979 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cedar First LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Steven Corry officiating. of-ficiating. The family prayer ,was offered by Gib Mitchell with Alene Chamberlain playing the prelude. . MARK C. HIGBEE postlude music and Tony Lambert gave the invocation. in-vocation. Musical selections consisted of Violin Solo by June Larsen acc. by Dorothy Haynie and a male quartet by SUSC students. The speaker was G. D. Mac-Donald Mac-Donald with remarks by Bishop Steven Corry. The benediction was offered by Dave Hatch and Kelly Dalton dedicated the grave. Interment was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direciton of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. |
