Show Corky Hays transferred to Capitol Reef Coralee (Corky) Hays arrived at Capitol Reef National Park, October 16, where she is the new Assistant Chief Park Interpreter. In-terpreter. In this position, she replaced Joe Decker, who transferred to Florissant Fossill Beds National Monument, Colorado, last summer. Corky will supervise the personal services programs of the park including walks, talks, and visitor center operation. Corky comes to Captol Reef from Mammoth Cave National Park, Kentucky, where she served for the past two years. Her husband, Paul, presently a Park Technician at Mammoth Mam-moth Cave, plans to follow her to Utah later this winter. Corky grew up on a fruit farm in Pennsylvania, so she feels at home living in the orchards of Fruita. |
