Show 0ES plan for Grand Visitation Cedar Chapter No. 20, Order of the Eastern Star, met Monday evening, April 11, at the Masonic Temple with Mrs. Neola Brown, worthy matron, presiding, assisted by Alex Mansour, worthy patron. Plans were finalized for the Grand Visitation Saturday, April 23. A dinner honoring the Grand Officers will be held at 6 p.m. at the Town and Country Restaurant. A special meeting will convene at 8:00 p.m. at the Masonic Temple. A practice for all officers will be held Thursday evening April 21 at 7:00 p.m. Jennie Peters reported the Shriners Hospital project was nearing completion. The ladies of the Chapter have been making lap robes and should be ready to present to the Worthy Grand Matron April 23. Delicious refreshments were served following the meeting by Gerry and Gus Gooding, Marie Endsley and Frank Quinn. Tables were cleverly decorated with Spring flowers and Easter rabbits. Don't forget the pot luck dinner Friday, April 29, for Chapter and Franklin Lodge members. Time is 6:30. Bring your table service, a covered dish, and-or salad or dessert, and a white elephant. Come out and enjoy the good food and entertainment. |
