Show Former residents gather here for family reunion Mr. and Mrs. Grant (Mable Adams) MacDonald of Mesa, Ariz, met in Parowan with members of their family for a reunion and to join with other relatives and friends for ' a get-together on the past week end. ' Those who joined their par-" par-" ents here were Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Hazel Dawn) Riggs i and family of Minneapolis; Mr, and Mrs. Jim (Helen) Christensen and Mrs. Gary I Thornly and their families of Mesa. During the time they were here they enjoyed a visit to the site of the old Adams Ranch "Ireland" on the head o the Mammoth, iand other places in that area. They attended at-tended an evening of Shakespeare" Shakes-peare" at SUSC, and on Sat. urday night they were together togeth-er for a cook-out and sing at the home of Mrs. Pearl Hoyle. Mr. and Mrs. MacDonald were hosts to a theater party par-ty for the 20 persons following follow-ing their attendance at the presentation of Shakespeare's "Merry Wives of Windsor" on Friday night. After the performance per-formance they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Adams and enjoyed a tour of their new home in Cedar City. Following Follow-ing this the group went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chick Bulloch where they visited and had refreshments. Parowan friends and relatives rela-tives who joined the group at various times were Mrs. Hoyle, Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Whitney, Mrs. Elaine Duke and children chil-dren of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Johnson and family, Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Adams and Mrs. Elvid (Mar-lene) (Mar-lene) Williams and family of Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Mitchell and Mrs. Carol A. Wright, Parowan. The MacD'ohalds and members mem-bers of their family left for Mesa Sunday morning to enjoy en-joy the remainder of their vacations. |
