Ho was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 1938 and to the Utah Stale Bar in 1939. Ho was an attorney attor-ney for the Railroad Retirement Retire-ment Board in Washington, and after returning to Utah served as Juab Co. Attorney from 1911 to 19G1. He resigned this position to devote his entire en-tire time to private practice. Judge McCune served a.s president of the Utah State Bar in 1957-58, and was Utah State Bar Commissioner from the Fifth District for five years. Ho is a member of the Utah State Bar, Southern Utah Bar Association, which he was instrumental in organizing, and the American Bar Association- He is affiliated with Utah State University chapter. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he has held many positions in the church, and as a civic leader he has been president of Kiwanis, president of the Juab County Hospital Board, and an officer of Nephi Chamber of Commerce Com-merce and Nephi Hospital Association. They were parents of four children, all of whom are now married, except James, W., Age 14, who resides with him In Cedar City. Judge MeCune in his statement state-ment says: "I am a firm advocate of a non-partisan judiciary and continuity of tenure of judges When I made my name available avail-able for appointment as judge, I stated that I had solicited no endorsements in any way as I considered the judgeship as a professional position for which a person should not campaign in the usual sense.
