Mr. and Mrs. Lagrande Rdbb traveled to Salt Lake City early last week to see Lola's doctor there. They were away over night and visited briefly brief-ly with the Clifford Rototo family fam-ily in Orem on the return trip. Neils Little of Salt Lake City visited here Sunday with aunt, Mrs. Hannah Robinson. by Hilmo Lamoreoux Earl Thornton was honored at a birthday celebration at the family home Saturday and his entire family was present for the fine dinner prepared. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Thornton and son Michael arrived from Ogden for a few days visit, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Walker and Mr. and (Mrs. Conrad Clark and Children, came from Cedar City and the Lynn Thornton and Reed Thornton families came from Parowan. They, were joined by the Dale Robinson family. Mrs. Mary Abbott and daughter dau-ghter Donna, iMrs. Delores Robinson and daughter Debra and Bonnie Reese were members mem-bers of the group that traveled to Salt Lake City last Friday, with the seventh grade school group. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamoreaux traveled to Orem to spend the weekend With tiheir son Rabin and his family. Mr. and Mrs. Mont Poul-son Poul-son and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Poulson and most of their families traveled to Salt Lake City Saturday to take the Sr. Mr. Poulson for a check -uip with his doctor there. They also visited briefly with relatives in the Provo area, 1 Mr. and Mrs. Jay Stolk and two children of Ely, Nev. were here with the Orlo Toiphams from Thursday to Saturday. They came because of the death of Joyce's father, Arvell Halterman, who was brought to Parowan for burial Saturday. Satur-day. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Kay Top. ham and small son, who are here on leave from Norton Air Force Base, traveled to Salt Lake City last week to visit Mr. and Mrs. Angus Topham of Salt Lake City were in this area on business and visited over night Sunday at the home of their brother George A. Topham. , Mr. and Mr&,,Kay-.Iibinso.n of Salt Lake City visited here Thursday and Friday with parents, Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson. They also visited with Marion's people in Cedar City. William Williamson, who is still convalescing from foot surgery traveled to Salt Lake City Tuesday to enter the Veterans Vet-erans Hospital for tests for an internal ailment. The tests were to last for several days. Mrs. Lula Bastian arrived home Monday after a weeks absence which she spent in Dixie with family members. Becky and Stacy Lister of Washington visited here from Thursday to Sunday with grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Lister. Alan and his wife came for the children Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Maliben Jacob-son Jacob-son of Oak City, and their daughter LaRee of St George Geo-rge were Sunday visitors here with the John R. Listers. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Board-man Board-man had rather poor ending to their vacation trip last week. Leah Jean was quite ill by the time they got home from Moab on Tuesday and her sister Mrs. Lou Ella Hawkins Haw-kins come from Kanarraville to be with her while Homer made a trip to Salt Lake City Her condition became worse and she was hospitalized in Cedar City on Wednesday. She is reported to be improving. Mrs. Orilla Lister, Mrs. Garma Lister and daughters Lisa and Mary Jo traveled to Ogden Friday to attend the wedding reception for Paula Butterfield and her new husband. hus-band. They visited overnight with the Butterfield family and Orilla's mother, Mrs. Myr-tie Myr-tie Abbott and then took in some of the points of interest in Salt Lake City before returning re-turning to Paragonah.
