Coleman posted a 9 to 1 victory vic-tory over Carter Bras. Monday evening and disposed of Milne by a score of 7 to 1 in last week's action. Against Carter Bros, both Holmes and Stoker homered in the contest and Stoker picked up the mound victory for the winning Coleman Cole-man effort. It was Holmes on the mound for the win over Milne. He gave up only three hits and collected 13 strikeouts strike-outs over the six inning.s of play. Spilsbury-Graff jumped into in-to second place in the standings stand-ings by virtue of a single victory vic-tory in action through Tuesday Tues-day of this week. The Mortuary Mortu-ary team posted an 8-3 victory over Carter Bros., but it was somewhat of a fluke. The winners collected only three hits in scoring eight runs while Carter Bros, had seven hits but could push in only three tallies. Wadsworth was the winning pitcher. Rotary wa involved in all three of the remaining decisions decis-ions of the week picking up a pair of losses and a .single victory. Loses came at the hands of Kiwanis, their first win of the season 10 to 9, and by Milne 9 to 2. The victory was a 11-8 win over Carter Bros, who have dropped into the cellar position.
