Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS By Mrs. Veda Matheson Brent Jones and Carolyn Matheson were married on Saturday in the St. Course Temple. People from out of town who came for the wedding wed-ding and reception were Mr. and Mrs. Barnard Matheson and children Jill, Kay Lynn, and Jack and Jack's fiancee, ; Mrs. Jones also received a visit vis-it from Paul and Aurcla Mathews Math-ews and their family of Idaho. Russell, Afton, and Lynn Hodges of Ventura, California visited with Afton's brothers and sister, the (Jrimshaws. Worth Crimshaw visited over the week end with his parents, the K. H. Crimshaws. Also visitini; with Hunter and MLss Carla King; Mr. and Mrs. M. Jay Halterman and son lie Id of Rowland Heights, California, Cal-ifornia, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Halterman and children and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Halterman and baby also of California. The Halterman.s also visited with Mrs. Pearl Halterman. Mr. and Mrs. liud Robinson and children came from Orem, Mr. and Mrs. Hay Cartwright and children from Heaver, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Warren and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Warren of Parovvan, and Mrs. Wayne j Russ from Las Vegas. i Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Jones I had all of their family togeth- j er for the wedding of their son ' Brent. Boh anj Mavis Munson' and children camp from Boise, I Ida; Delwin and Renee Wells and children came from Bountiful, John and Trudy I Wilson and family came from ' Salt Lake to join with Helen and Stan, Bivent, Garth, and Marilyn and children who live here. Lillian Crimshaw were Mrs. Mary Steward and her son Keith Ioverldge of Ely, Nev.; Robert Parkinson of Salt Lake, who Is a friend of Ron's and Worth's, stopped briefly on his way to Las Vegas. Eva and Ann Crimshaw left over the week end for Grand Canyon where they have employment em-ployment for the summer. Randy Grlmshaw Is moving 1 to Salt Lake City to work for the summer. , Mrs. Cora Murie received visits from several members of her family, Those coming from ' out of town were Mrs. Belva Anderson of Bountiful, Roland and Ellen Anderson of Alamo, Nev., Dave Anderson and family fam-ily of Mesquite, and Jim and Beth Applcgatc and baby of Bountiful. A large number of young people from Enoch and Mid-valley Mid-valley graduated from Seminary Sem-inary last week as third and fourth year students. Connie Bryant, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Bryant, received the Heaton Award given annually an-nually at the exercises. MLss Susan Price of Plea-sant Plea-sant Grove is visiting with her sister Mrs. Carla Grimshaw. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Maxwell and baby son came from California Cali-fornia to spend Memorial Day with Mrs. Mildred Maxwell and other members of the Maxwell family. Bud and Laree Garfield and their children of Las Vegas stopped on their way to Idaho to visit with Mrs. Delia Garfield Gar-field and Myra. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Smith of Bountiful were here for the Memorial Day week end to attend at-tend the wedding reception and visit their many relatives and friends in this area. Mr. and Mrs. Vern McDonald of Salt Lake visited John Heaton over the week end and with Louise's brothers, Bilbey, Glendon and Doyle and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Olean Hatch and family of Monticello, visited vis-ited with the George D. Grimshaw Grim-shaw famly. Most of George D, and Beth's family members were together on Memorial Day to bid farewell to Arlen and Kathy Grimshaw and family as they left to make their home in Oregon. Mr. an( Mrs. Eldon Webster Web-ster and family of Las Vegas, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ivor D. Jones and family. Mr. and Mrs. Barbara Kelsey and boys and Helen Pace all of Las Vegas, spent a few days here to attend the Matheson and Jones wedding reception and to visit with the Jack Pace family. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Grimshaw Grim-shaw enjoyed having part of their children home. Kent and Marry Ann Terry and baby, and Wayne and Beverly and their baby came from Salt Lake to spend a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bou-whius, Bou-whius, Mrs. Nana Christiansen and Irene Christiansen visited wth Mr. and Mrs. Ray Chirst-lansen Chirst-lansen and family. |
