I Seventy-four students receive diplomas i at Parowan Seminary graduation rites !The famed LDS hymn, "Oh, My Father", was played at a piano solo bv Miss Christine Knight. A special part on the program pro-gram was the presentation of the Barbara Adams Womanhood Woman-hood Award. The award went to Sherry Dawn Dalton, fourth year graduate, with the donor making the, presentation. I Seminary Principal Ernest Ahlborn presented the graduates gradu-ates and the diplomas were awarded to them by Howard D. Knight, stake president. The organ prelude was by Alene Pendleton, with the invocation in-vocation given by Carol Ann Adams and the benediction by Robert Rasmussen. I In a well prepared and presented pre-sented graduation program on Wednesday evening in the Third Ward chapel 31 fourth year, and 43 third year graduates grad-uates received diplomas from the Parowan LDS Seminary The program which lasted a little over an hour was enjoyed en-joyed by an audience which almost filled the chapel to its capacity. Seminary President Del Hu-let Hu-let welcomed those present and introduced the theme: "The parents that you should i honor more than any others I are the parents of your chil-1 chil-1 dren to be. Those children are entitled to the best parents I that it is possible for you to give them". Three speakers, treating the theme stressed the way the above can be done in well prepared talks. They were Jolene Stubbs, Kevin Robinson Ro-binson and Richard Adams. A vocal solo, "He that Hath Clean Hands and Pure Heart,"-was Heart,"-was given by Marilyn Orton, and followed along the theme. |
