Show Tickets Are Chosen For Student Officers at P. H. S. The annual selection of student stu-dent body officers at Parowan High School is underway this week to name a student body president, a vice president and secretary to lead the students stu-dents during the 1967-68 year. The students gathered in a nominating session last Wednesday Wed-nesday to choose candidiates for the offices and resulted in two tickets being named to vie in the final voting to take place Friday of this week. The election results are to be announced at an election dance to be held friday night in the gym. As usual the tickets were dubbed Gold and Blue, the school colors. Heading the Gold ticket for president is Glenn Robinson, with Mike Hulet running for that office on the Blue ticket. Robinson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Robinson and Hulet a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hulet. Running for vice president on the Blue ticket with Hulet is Nancy Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Robinson Robin-son and for secretary, Vonnie Van Ausdal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Van Ausdal. Running for vice president on the Gold ticket is Phil Burt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C. Burt, and for secretary Sandra Wasden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Newel Wasden. Campaign managers are Andrea An-drea Adams for the Gold tick-at, tick-at, and Gayle Lund for the Blue ticket and the entire election elec-tion procedure is being supervised super-vised by Marvin Graff of the school faculty. |
