City was cited for efforts during 1966. New campaign is under way this week. It's Clean-Up Week, Plan to Participate Citizens of Cedar City should be reminded that this week lias been designated by the Cedar City Beautification Committee Com-mittee as CLEAN UP WEEK, according to Naomi Lunt, chairman. The city Is cooperating co-operating by making their loader and trucks available to complete the job. Assist- , ance can be obtained on any j big projects such as the re-moval re-moval of old houses, sheds, barns, etc., by contacting the Landscape Chairman in the ward involved. The city will pick up trash, tree limbs, stumps, etc. that are placed by the curb on Friday or Saturday. They have requested that no heavy metal or car bodies be left for cleanup. The Boy Scouts are willing to clean up vacant lots as a fund raising project or as a community service project. Let's get behind the effort by cleaning up our own lots and by assisting in neighborhood neighbor-hood projects. |
