Show News From NEWCASTLE Mrs. Norma Christensen Out of town family members here because of the death of C. E. Hart were Mr. and Mrs. Vem (Mary Lou) Malley of Monterey Park, California; Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Margie) Lloyd and family of Tucson, Arizona, and Mr. Allan Hart and daughter Pamela of Redding, California. They visited a few days at the homes of their brothers and their families. Jack and Margie -took their son Doug back homewith them. Doug has.,' spent the summer here with the Charles Hart family. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Valora and son of Provo, were visitors last week at the home of Mr. ana Mrs. noyd ennstensen. 1 The Valora's are leaving for Pennsylvania where Pete will be teaching at a state college next year. Mrs. Jerry Gersich visited in San Diego, Calif., and Las Vegas last week. Mr. and Mrs. Max Riggs and family of Las Vegas, were weekend visitors In town last week. Miss Bonnie Clark, daughter of Mrs. Robert Clark, has returned re-turned from Grand Canyon where she was employed for the summer. Bonnie is teaching teach-ing in the Granite School District. Dis-trict. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Reber and family of Henderson, Nev., were visitors last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet. Ken is a brother to Nita Rae. Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Hulet and daughters Darla and Laureda Hulet. journeyed to Logan this week on business. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen Chris-tensen and daughters, Linda and Janice, traveled to Salt Lake City last week for a few days vacation. They visited at the home of Katherine's brother, bro-ther, the Merrill Stirling family fam-ily of Kaysville. Dr. Sherman Beacham and two colleagues of Salt Lake City visited in town last week. Sherman is leaving for St. Louis, Missouri, where he will remain at least a year and will be engaged in a special research project. Mr. and Mrs. James Tullis of Cedar City were Sunday visitors at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Tullis. Mr. and Mrs. Caine Christen, sen and daughter Vickie of La Vegas Nev.. visited last week at the home of their mother. Mrs. Cassie Christensen. Christen-sen. They also visited with the Boyd and Russell Chris-. tensen families. Mrs. Norman Thomas of Enterprise also visited vis-ited at the home of her mother. moth-er. Mrs. Verne Sandstrom and daughter Charlene. were visitors visi-tors last week at the home of Mrs. Marv Tullis and also at th Scott Tullis home. The Sandstroms live In Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Harrison Harri-son and family of St. George were visitors last week at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Murray Harrison. |
