Show Junior High School Registration Plans Announced Rulan Woodbury, principal of the Cedar City Junior High School announced this week registration procedures for the opening of that school 01. Tuesday, Sept. 3. All students will registei for classes on that date, he stated, with each grade leve. registration in a different lo cation of the school. Registration is slated for I a.m. for all students and i expected to be completed bj noon in order that class wor. can begin at 1 p.m. that same date. The lunch room will be opei and operated on that date, ht pointed out. Seventh grade students will register in the auditorium. Eighth grade students are to meet in the boys gymnasi- um. Ninth grade students will register in the girls gymnasium. gymnas-ium. Registration -fees were alstr detailed with seventh and eigthh grades to be charged $5 for student activity previl- J iges. Ninth graders, who are I in actuality a part of the , high school system, will be ' charged $5 for student activities activ-ities and an additional $10 for book rental. Industrial arts students are required to purchase safety j glasses at a cost of $3.50. j Glasses may be returned for $3 at the close of the term if they are in good condition. A $2.50 shop card is required for materials used for projects. Lockers are furnished and locks may be rented from the school for 50 cents per lock. Low cost accident insurance is also available for $1.50 to $3, Woodbury stated. |
