Show Zion Photo Team Takes Championship In Annual Invitational Softball Tournament Zion Photo walked off with the Championship of the Invitational In-vitational Tournament sponsored spon-sored by the Cedar City Softball Soft-ball Association in action Thursday night. Zion defeated another Cedar City team, Blackburn and Gower, 13 to 10 for the championship. champ-ionship. Merrill Wilding was on the mound for the victors and Wesley Roberts was the bigger hitter of the evening with four hits in four official trips including six runs batted in. Wilding held Blackburn and Gower to seven hits while Zion Photo picked up 13 hits off pitcher Jim Edwards. Bob's Chevron Service of Washington won third place honors in the tournament with a 9 to 6 win over Keith's Westside of Cedar City. West-side West-side was the Cedar City league champions this year and a pre-tournament favorite. At the conclusion of tournament tourn-ament play, which included 13 teams from six southern Utah communities, a 13-man all-star team was selected. Selection was made on an evaluation basis on each game participation in the tournament, tourna-ment, according to Max Bonzo, tournament director.
