Show Annual Report Of Deer Harvest Released Utah's 1967 deer hunt ranked rank-ed among the best in Mule Doer hunting as the 156,404 hunters who went into the field during this past season harvested a total of 90,053 deer. The Utah Division of Fish and Game released the annual deer harvest report covering the 1967 hunt including the harvest on the regular deer license of 84,871 deer for a 54 percent hunter success and the harvest on control hunts which brought the total deer kill to the 90,053 figure. Fewer hunters were in the field in 1967 as compared to the 1966 season, but this was anticipated because of a license li-cense fee increase for 1967. Last fall's regular license harvest was composed of about 64 bucks and 36 antlerless deer. . Utah deer hunters last season sea-son took advantage of the fine hunting in the outlying areas as pressure in these 'away from home units increased in-creased and pressure around metropolitan areas generally decreased. |
