Show Institute Forum Opens Series Thursday DR. J. MARVIN HIGBEE 'Tersonal Commitment Key to Success," will be the subject sub-ject of the first in a lecture series to be presented in Cedar Ce-dar City by the LDS Institute of Religion. Guest speaker will be Dr. J. Marvin Higbee, International Internation-al field secretary of the LDS Student Association and Assistant As-sistant Administrator of the Department of Seminaries and Institutes. The Institute will present a lecture each Thursday at noon at the Institute and the public has been extended an invitation invita-tion to attend. Dr. Higbee will appear today, to-day, Thursday, at 12 noon. Next week, Thursday, Apr. 4, the speaker will be CeCe Foxley, an internationl representative rep-resentative of Lambda Delta Sigma and she will speak on the subject, "How to Succeed With the Opposite Sex." Dr. Higbee obtained his bachelor and master degrees from Brigham Young University Univer-sity and his doctorate from the University of Southern California at Los Angeles. ;Ho has been active in the church education system since 1958 when he was prin- cipal of the Grantsville Seminary. Sem-inary. He also taught at the Pleasant Grove Seminary from 1960-61. While in Los Angeles for his doctorate he became director dir-ector of the El Camino Institute Insti-tute until called to his present position with the church. ' |
