Show Rosalie Grimshaw Ward C. Boyd United In Marriage Miss Rosalie Grimshaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Grimshaw, Enoch became the bride of Mr. Ward Carson Boyd, Provo in rites solemnized solemn-ized in the St. George LDS Temple on May 25. President Archie R. Boyack, former Temple president and the N-rw Zealand Mission President Pre-sident under whom the bridegroom bride-groom served his mission, officiated of-ficiated at the double-ring cermony. TaKnts of the bridegroom ' are Mr. and Mrs Ward C. Boyd, 1602 Alger, Cody, Wyoming. A reception in ths Enoch Ward Cultural Hall was held In honor of the newlyweds, aso on May 25. They were further fur-ther honored at an Open House hosted by the bridegroom's bride-groom's parents in Cody on May 30. WABD CARD BOYD The bride greeted the guests In a gown of chiffon and lace featuring a jeweled bodice and wrist-length lace sleeves. The skirt was tiered ruffles of lace which extenrd into a train. The shoulder length veil fell from a coronet of pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of white gamelias, white rose burls and stephenotis, A sister of the bride, Mrs. Thomas Christensen, was Matron Ma-tron of Honor, and the bridesmaids brides-maids were Miss Melody Esch, Miss Pauline Douglas and another an-other sister, Miss Eva Rae Grimshaw. Junior bridesmaids were neices, Misses Jan and Annette Chrstensr, and pette neices, Neena end Sonya Christensen were flower girls. A nephew, Johnny Burke was the ring bearer. The attendants attend-ants carried sheaves of daises which enhanced the powder blue, floor-length dresses they wore. These dresses were of whipped cream material i,n an empire style and featured square necks, puffed sleeves, and were accented with daisy trim around the waist. Grimshaw. Gifts were carried by Richard and Ava Adams and Laura Lee Foster. A wedding luncheon hosted by thee bride's parents was held for friends and relatives in the Enoch Ward Building between the time of the wedding wed-ding and reception. A prenuptial shower for the bride was given in Provo by Miss Ann Grimshaw. The newlyweds honeymooned honeymoon-ed in Wyoming before going to Key Port, Washington to maka their home, where he is employed as a civilian accountant ac-countant at the Bremerton Naval Base. The bride is a graduate of Cedar High School and has attended at-tended CSU and BYU. She was in the orchestra at Cedar High School and CSU. She served as president of the Candy Stripers and was Inter-chapter Inter-chapter vice president of Lambda Delta Sigma, and has been active in the LDS Church and 4-H. A sister of the bride, Mrs. Linda Burke and Miss Katly, Woods were hostesses, and Mrs. Marvin Prince presided at the gift book. Also greeting the guests were the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Barbara Adams and the bridegroom's aunt, Mrs. Mar-cine Mar-cine Shumway. Mr. Al Diettrick stood as best man, and the ushers were Rodger Marllo and brothers Ronald and Worth Grimshaw. Mrs. Grimshaw wore a navy blue shift with a corsage of pink tinted carnations. Mrs. Boyd wore a dress with orange or-ange and white flowerd bodice bo-dice and orange skirt with a corsage of white carnations. The wedding cake was! created and decorated by Mrs. Henry Grimshaw. Kitchen hostesses hos-tesses were Mrs. Drusilla Smith, Mrs. Elaine Adams, Mrs. Beth Grimshaw and Miss Lola Mae Richardson. Serving was done by Zola and Connie Bryant, Carolyn Adams, Cathy and Carolyn Matheson, Cindy Christensen, Marlene Maxwell and Gail The bridegroom graduated from Cedar High School, and attended NWCC where he re- ceived an Associate of Arts degree in accounting. He graduated from BYU in May with a degree in accounting. He served in New Zealand on a mission for the LDS Church. |
