Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLY NEWS Mrs. Veda Mathcson Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Jones wore in Salt Lake City over the week end. On Sunday afternoon af-ternoon their entire family was at the home of Bob and Mavis Munson in Bountiful. Also there were Stanley and Grace Smith, who are former Enoch residents. Mrs. Louise Matheson accompanied ac-companied by Carolyn and Cathy Matheson, went to Salt Lake City Sunday and returned return-ed Monday. While there they visited Mr. and Mrs. Barnard ; Matheson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Denton Jones and little daughter Julie came from Blanding, Utah Saturday and spent the day with Denton's Den-ton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Myron S. Jones. The Enoch Ward Sunday School banquet held Friday evening was a great s'uvess. Mary May Nelson defeated cakes In a Nursery motif for centerpieces and these were given as door prizes along with a transistor radio, record Album and nylons. Mrs. Elaine Nelson was In Salt Lake City Thursday, Friday Fri-day and Saturday, attending the Farm Bureau Women's Workshop. Elaine is executive Secretary of the Women's Committee of the Utah State Farm Bureau. She tells us the workshop was especially I good this year. The main , speakers were a mother and ' son who had recently escaped from Czechoslavokia and told of their lack of freedom and criticized Americans for their lack of patriotism. Mrs. Mary Ann Terry came from Salt Lake City over the weekend to visit with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R Grimshaw. Worth Grimshaw was here from the BYU at Provo ovei the week end to visit with his Darents. Mr. and Mrs. Huntei Grimshaw. Mrs. Mildred Maxwell is visiting vis-iting in Salt Lake City for a week with Max and Omah Lee Maxwell. Miss Pat Wood from Dug-way, Dug-way, Utah, who is attending CSU was a guest of Helen Pace Saturday and Sunday. |
