Show July Storms Bring 1.30 Inches Of Rain to Valley The July weather picture still remained on rather the dry side according to Clayton, local weather wea-ther station caretaker, who states the the total rainfall for the 31-day period only amounted to 1.30 Inches. More than half of this amount came in the heavy storm in mid July, reported at .65 of an inch two weeks ago. Since then, one other substantial storm which brought .41 of an inch came on July 21. On July 29 .09 of an inch was recorded and on the final day, July 31, .05 of an inch was recorded. In the meantime the weather has been rather warm for us, ranging up In the mid-nineties on several days during the final one-third of the month. The temperature, tem-perature, coupled with high humidity, hu-midity, has made theings rather uncomfortable at times. |
