Show NEWCASTLE Mrs. Effie Beacham and her daughter Fern traveled to northern nor-thern Utah last week and visited at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Doug (Sharon) Seals and family in Tooele. A son, Dr. and Mrs. Sherman Beacham and family of Salt Lake City came to the Seals' home to visit with Effie and Fern while they were there. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Woolsey and family visited in Delta last week at the home of Marion's folks, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison journeyed to Salt Lake City last week where they attended the Democratic Convention held in that city. They also attended a reception at the Governor's mansion. , Mr. and Mrs. Parley G. Deem of Lakewood, Calif., visited at the home of their daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christensen. Also visiting at the Christensen home was a sister to Norma, Mrs. Marilyn Steele and little son of Rangely, Colo. The Christensen family then left Saturday Sat-urday morning with their visitors visit-ors for Ogden, where they attended attend-ed a family reunion. They visited visit-ed relatives in Ogden and Salt Lake City and returned home Monday. Mrs. Gerry Gersich has her three grandchildren, Lonnie, Eva and Pamela Cox of Granada Hills, Calif., here for a month's visit. Gerry and Fern Meacham drove to Las Vegas where they picked them up. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Fife of Albuquerque, N. M., were visitors visit-ors this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsyth. The Liahoma Holiday of the Newcastle Ward was held Monday Mon-day night in the ward hall. The girls graduating from Primary this year are Nellie Gai Hart, Valerie Hart, Laureda Hulet, Laura Hulet and Nancy Gardner. Gard-ner. A lovely program was presented pre-sented to their mothers after which refreshments were served. |
