Show Southwicks Entertain Members of Family Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Southwhick have had both the Richard South-wick South-wick family of Bountitul and the Robert Beckstead family of ban Lake City here with Uiem this month. Mr. and Mrs. Richard South-wick South-wick and their six children arrived ar-rived two weeks ago to attend the Shakespearean Festival. Their daughter JoAnn is here again to spend several more days. Mr. ana Mrs. Robert Beckstead and their six children came last week in time for the last performances per-formances of the Festival. Mr. Beckstead returned home while his wife, the former Donna South-wick, South-wick, and children remained for an extended visit. While in Cedar City, Mrs. Beckstead has entertained at two different social occasions. Satur-1 day night she presented the drama "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" to guests who were invited in-vited by Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Southwick. Those attending were j Mr. and Mrs. Reed Bradshaw, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Berrett and Mr. Berrett's sister; Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ce-cil Jorgensen, Dr. and Mrs. J. S. Prestwich, Mrs. Ardeen Childs, Mrs. Lyman Munford, Tom Chal-lis Chal-lis and Mrs. Lona Watson as well as several family members. Mrs. Beckstead also presented the Drama to the Summer Drama Club. Mr. Reed Berrett accompanied accom-panied her at one event while Bernella Jones provided the piano pia-no accompaniment. Club. |
