Lund claimed Miss An'ta Woodruff for his bride In April in a double-ring ceremony, solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, Tem-ple, Elder John Longden, assistant assist-ant to the council of the twelve apostles, officiated. Following the ceremony the newlyweds and families were honored at a wedding breakfast at the "Doll House" by the bridegroom's bride-groom's mother. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Woodruff of Taylorsville. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Ethel Lund and the late Thomas Lund. The newlyweds greeted guests at a reception at the beautifully decorated home of the bride. Attending as the maid of honor was the sister of the bride, Mrs. Steven Ellis. The bridesmaids were Miss Virginia Burma and Mrs. Daniel Barker and little niece, Jodene Kay Ellis, was flo- I wer girl. All wore matching J dresses of orchid taffeta. The mothers of the bride and bride-I bride-I groom wore dresses of pink lace. I Best man was Lamar I. Lund 1 of Milford, .rother of the groom, I with George Woodruff, Steven Ellis, Einar Bergstedt and Daniel Barker acting as ushers. Organ music was provided in : the background. I Serving was by the nieces of the groom Kathy Lund, Reiver; Alene and Bonita Pendleton and Sharon Gurr of Parowan. The bride has attended the Brigham Young University and the groom is also a graduate of the BYU. He has completed a mission for the LDS Church in Norway. Following a honeymoon to the Grand Canyon mesa in Arizona and Las Vegas, Nev., the couple will reside in Granger both being employed in Salt Lake City. |
