Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING Several Cedar City couples participated par-ticipated In a week end "River Run." Mr. and Mrs. Byron Anderson, Ander-son, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Nlckles, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gamble and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Peterson traveled by boat from the "Crossing "Cross-ing of the Fathers" on the Colorado Colo-rado River up to the Escalante River and portions of the San Juan. Mr. and Mrs. Henry P. Dotson were pleased to welcome their daughter, Mrs. Robert (Gloria) Campbell and two month old son to their home last week. The visitors from Salt Lake City plan to stay In Cedar City for several more days. Dr. and Mrs. Wendell Brooks-by Brooks-by spent three days in Las Vegas last week enjoying Helldorado. They were accompanied on the trip by Peggy and Farrell Mc-Bride Mc-Bride of Hyrum, Utah. Bridge club was held at the home of Elsie Seegmiller last Wednesday evening with all 12 members of the group present Eniovinsr the evening were Nona Cheever, Ila Sherratt, Lanoir Lee, Claudia Macfarlane, Virginia Randall, Helen Mathews, Flossie I Harris, Helen Burnham, Alma Kunz, Bertha Jones, Dess Gentry and Florence Adams. Returning to Greenville, Utah, with a new baby daughter was Mr. and Mrs. Donald Burton. Mrs. Barton, the former Doris Garnor, and her husband had been staying stay-ing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Garner. j FOREST SERVICE AUXILIARY A unique and successful "Pot Luck Luncheon" was staged by members of the Forest Service Auxiliary Saturday at noon. Each of the members present brought their favorite casserole, salad or dessert dishes which were served at the luncheon. Rec'ples of the special foods were exchanged. Fifteen ladles were In attendance at the social event which was held at the Presbyterian Church. Hostesses for the occasion were Donna Hendricks and Karen Bentley. Currently visiting In Cedar City are Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Hill and son who arrived late Monday evening. eve-ning. They are guests at the home of Mrs. Hill's mother, Mrs. Douglas Clark. |
