Show Women Voters Elect Officers, Establish Study Area The League of Women Voters annual meeting In the form of a luncheon served In the basement of the Presbyterian Church on Saturday, Mar. 21, was the scene of their regular election of officers offi-cers and selection of a current agenda Item for study during the coming year. The newly elected officers who will serve for a two-year terms are Mrs. L. V. Broadbent, president; presi-dent; Mrs. Keith Midgley, first vice president; Mrs. Lester Hey-borne, Hey-borne, secretary, and the follow-, ing board members: Mrs. Dale Milne, Mrs. George Barrus, Mrs. Percy Peters, and Mrs. Douglas Lunt. Holdover officers who will continue to function for the coming com-ing year are, Mrs. E. F. Stark, second vice president; Mrs. Wesley Wes-ley Keeteh, treasurer, and board members, Mrs. Rudy Iverson, and Mrs. Max Weaver. The local agenda study Item will be the Iron County School system. Plans are going forward In preparation for the local league to host the state convention of the League of Women Voters on April 23 and 21 In Cedar City. April 1, Is the date for the next unit meetings when the final section sec-tion will be studied and discussed discus-sed on the foreign policy Issue.
