Show Kiwanis Club Installs Nov Officers E. Hanson Takes Helm Karl Harv:oti, ms'ia-irr of lti Southern Ulah Division of the California Pacific Utilities, was installed as president of the Kiwanis Ki-wanis Club of Cedar City Monday Mon-day evening. Conducting t h e installation was Alex Wilkie, St. Oorge, Lt. Governor of the Utah-Idaho District Dis-trict of Kiwanis International. Other officers installed at the meeting were James Hoyle as vice president; Robert Hansen, secretary and Thomas Cardon as treasurer. Members of the board of directors direc-tors who took office at the installation in-stallation are Therol McArthur, Lynn Leishman, Haymer Morris, Iao Empey, McRay Cloward and Dr. Melvin Corry. The Lt. Governor also presented present-ed the theme, as developed by Kiwanis International, for the 19fil year which is "Freedom, A Call to Personal Service." I Ho said that each Kiwanian has been issued a "Call to per j sonal service to the creator of all man kind; a rail to personal 1 service, to the world In which we live; a call to personal service to our nation, free men all; a call to personal service to our fellow citizens, whom we serve; and a call to personal service to Kiwanis, Ki-wanis, through which we serve. |
