Show Cedar West Stake Announces Conference Plans Two prominent leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints will be featured speakers at the quarterly conference con-ference of the CVUai West Stake Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 18 and 1!), at the Stake House in Cedar City. Elder Paul C. Child will represent repre-sent the Church's General Welfare Wel-fare Committee and Elder Norman Nor-man E. Wright the Genealogical Society. General Sessions of the conference confer-ence will be held Sunday at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. at the Stake House. Visitors will be welcome Elder Paul C. Child, a member of the General Welfare Committee, Commit-tee, is a retired district manager of American Express Company. He has served as a bishop and as a stake presirent, and for three years presided over the North Central States Mission. Elder Norman E. Wright, a member Of tlitr Genealogical Society So-ciety Staff, is an American research re-search specialist in the research department of the Genealogical Association in Salt Lake City. He was a missionary in New Zealand, Zea-land, served in the armed forces, and Is active in the auxiliary organization or-ganization of the Church. Elders Child and Wright will lddress special meetings for .Velfare workers and Genealogical Genealog-ical Committee members Satur-!ay Satur-!ay evening. |
