Show NEWCASTLE NEWS NOTES by Norma Chrlstensea Anyone care for a pheasant dinner? Russell and Katherine Chrlstensen were served a surprise sur-prise dish of pheasant under glass this week. One of the big birds flew straight through their big front room window and landed land-ed on the living room rug. Glass splatered all over the room and luckily, Katherine naa just gone Into the kitchen. The pheasant wasn't cut but it did break his neck. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison are happy at the arrival of their first grandchild. A little baby girl was born last week to Roger and Lydia Morton of Summit. Iva went to Summit to stay with Lydia for a few days after her release from the hospital. Mrs. Roberta Clark and daughter daugh-ter Bonnie, of Cedar City, were I Sunday visitors at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Piatt, and also at the Warren Piatt home. A Sunday school faculty meet-! meet-! ing was held Sunday morning In the New Castle ward hall. ! Uvada Stake Sunday school pres- Idency, Grover Swallow, LaVon ! Mr. and Mrs. Verl Woolsey and four children visited In Delta last week at the home of Marion's Mari-on's folks, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen. We are certainly proud of Kay and Gail Knell, sons of Mr. and with Robert Higbee of Cedar City, wno won ist piace in the i i year old division of the recent Kiwanls Club Talent Show. The boys played "In the Mood Boogie" Boog-ie" on their electric guitars. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Knell entertained enter-tained at a party in their home Wednesday night In honor of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Pickrell, who were recently married. Guests Included Includ-ed other Bar-V employees. Kay and Gall Knell entertained on their guitars and light refreshments refresh-ments were served to all present. |
